Stage 2 gives the ultimate performance from the factory Garrett turbo. Requiring the full R600 intake and turbo inlet, intercooler and a high-flow catalyst.
If your car has OPF/GPF fitted, Stage 2 is not applicable. Therefore Stage 2 is only legal for markets where GPF is not factory fitted, or is legal to delete, or when car is to be used off-highway for racing purposes only.

High Torque vs Lower Torque.
Which is right for you?
As you can see above, we offer this calibration in High Torque and Lower Torque configurations. Both maps reach the same peak power, but the Lower Torque option has torque limited to 480Nm in lower-mid range to protect your clutches (if TCU not installed). So which is the right choice for you?
Firstly, the High Torque calibration needs to be run with a TCU DSG tune to get the best from it. If TCU is currently not available for your car (see below) we recommend the Lower Torque calibration. Of course, you can upgrade to the High Torque for free in future if you purchase TCU when it becomes available for your car.
You may prefer the Lower Torque calibration for FWD cars. As the power and torque delivery has a more linear growth than the High Torque map, it helps to maintain traction and ultimately makes the car more drivable.
Finally, for 6MT manual transmission cars, the Lower Torque calibration will protect the stock factory clutch - a known weak point in these cars running high power. Then you can upgrade to High Output for free in future if you fit a stronger aftermarket clutch.
Hardware required?
Stage 1: no. Stage 2: yes.

RacingLine PDM.
End-user Flashing Tool and Cable.
Welcome to PDM - a whole new way of installing, upgrading and managing your RacingLine Software, any time, anywhere, and fully compatible with this 2.0 TSI tuning.
The Power Delivery Module allows you to access the full RacingLine Performance Software calibration suite for your car from your laptop or via your mobile device with the free App-Connect download. Quickly and safely reflash your Engine Control Unit (ECU) and DSG Transmission Control Unit (TCU) anywhere with a wifi/phone connection.
Meaning you can install your software, vary between fuel types, return to stock or activate Theft Protect as often as you want, wherever you want.
Theft Protect.
for use with PDM system.
Leaving your beloved car parked somewhere risky? Going away on holiday? Dangerous neighbourhood?
One of nice features of the RacingLine 2.0 TSI calibration suite - only when used with our PDM system - is the Theft Protect function.
It takes just a moment to flash the car via your PDM with the Theft Protect map, and unlike any immobiliser on the market, the ECU is now effectively blank until you return to your car and reflash to your previous stage (or to stock).
Meaning that there is literally no way for the engine to start. Zero possibility. Peace of mind included.
DSG Tuning.
Matched TCU Upgrades.
TCU calibrations for the DSG gearbox are still in development phase for certain EA888.4 applications. 2022+ cars cannot yet have TCU installed, whilst 2021 cars have some gearbox codes ready to flash immediately and others are in development. Your RacingLine Software installer can advise you on availability.
If TCU Calibration is available for your car, it is certainly recommended - and essential if you are choosing the High Torque ECU Stage 1 or 2.
If no TCU Calibration is available for your car currently, we recommend our Lower Torque ECU calibration. Remember, with our Free of Charge upgrades for life, you can always buy TCU in future, then upgrade to the High Torque calibration for free.
By adding TCU alongside your ECU, the engine's torque output is increased quite significantly versus a car with ECU tuning only.
Our well-proven TCU tuning will not only handle the power gain with higher clutch pressures, it also reprograms the shift characteristics to give a much more natural and enjoyable drive.
POWER AND TORQUE GAINS
The amazing Stage 1 gains from the 2.0 TSI EA888.4 engine speaks for itself. Your car will be simply transformed.

Why RacingLine?
Benefits of OEM+ Software
Our Development.
24 months of hard work.
Our first Golf mk8 GTI, one of the very first dealer-allocation cars off the production line, arrived back in November 2020. It was collected from Switzerland in the height of the first Covid lockdown for us to get straight to work on it.
Since then, we've added the first new Audi S3 8Y we could get, then a Golf mk8 R onto our development fleet.
Whether in our dyno cell, on track or accumulating road mileage, we've put tens of thousands of hard test miles under the wheels of these cars.
The last few months have been spent Beta testing on dealer cars around the world, and most recently with selected customer vehicles to reach a point of final valiation.
Only now, 2 years later, is our RacingLine OEM+ Software ready to offer to customers. That's the RacingLine difference.
How do I buy?
Our RacingLine dealers.
Our OEM+ software can be purchased and installed through any one of our recognised worldwide OEM+ Technical Centres. Visit our dealer locater page to find your nearest RacingLine OEM+ dealer.
And now, with our PDM Power Delivery Module system, you have the added option of installing and varying your calibration yourself at home.
Either way, our network of Technical Centres are there for you should you ever have any concerns pre pr post-purchase.
After all, aren't some jobs best left to the experts?

What about PCM?
The alternative to a remap.
Of course, not everyone is ready to tune their brand new car.
PCM is RacingLine's alternative 'Plug & Play' tuning solution ideal for anyone who prefers not to remap their car yet. PCM is developed exclusively for these MQB 'Evo' cars such as Golf mk8 GTI, Audi A3 8Y, Cupra Leon 245, Cupra Formentor 245 & Octavia vRS IV.
PCM stands for ‘Power Control Module’ and is the perfect starting point to bring your MQB 'Evo' car to life with more power and torque without remapping the ECU.
Easily installed, and easily removed at any time without a trace.
And best of all, whenever you want, you can trade your PCM up to a RacingLine OEM+ calibration for free.
NOTE
All of the above power figures are accurate, tested illustrations; however, please do remember that actual power figures can vary up or down slightly dependant on many factors such as the condition of your engine & ancillaries, the fuel quality, other modifications fitted, and even testing methods.
Also please remember that changing your car's software will affect its manufacturer warranty. It is your responsibility to notify your insurer and to ensure that your car still complies with all your local road laws. Please consult your supplying dealer for full information.
